My NEW Type 34 Ghia * with pics*
Howdy everybody,
This is my new pride & joy... i have wanted a type 34 for about 20 years ... now i have one !!!!! woo hoo.
It is a 65 1500 S ghia i am the third owner, it has come with all the paper work from the orignal bill of sale from 65 through to today.
It has 90k miles original on the clock, it has some issues but i can live with them.
plans first up are to sort out the breaks & motor and make sure it is safe to drive and any other issues in reguards to safety. New tyres, and a
coat of colour on the roof, not sure what yet but thinking something with metal flake in it. going to lower the front & then do a type one beam
conversion so i can tuck the wheels in a few inches .... then roll it .... SWEET.
I am SO HAPPY.
I will keep the pictures comming of the changes as they happen.
Also i am hunting a couple of rear tail light lenses for the car, if anybody out there can show some love, i really want to hear from you.

Was it from the restaurant owner from Port Noarlunga or the father and son that also have the red one? Neither?
Cool Ride. You should get in touch with Mick Percy 0409 249 439. He runs the T3 Register and also has a nice turbo t3 ghia

have decided that i am going to 2 tone the roof, will be using the black mica colour from ther new SS holden.
with the grey body, i think that will look ok.
Also will be "shultz'ing" the under side of the car & the wheel wells. to help keep the metal in good condition.
Going to run the sock rims for now with 145's on the front & 165's on the rear and i wil get them white or red walled, not sure yet.
the cars mechanicals are getting some love as we speak so i should have it back sometime next week.
Turbo 54, not sure if it was from either of the people you said, i know they didnt have another one and i didnt ask the guy what he did. I can tell
you it came from O'Sullivans Beach on the South side of Adelaide.
i will move this thread to the "members rides" section so as not to do the wrong thing from hear on in ... so my next post will be there with some
more pictures.
Cheers.
