| Poor Solitaire service

Is it just me or is Solitaire a complete pain in the neck.
  Where can
I go to get decent Volkswagen service for my 2004 Golf? I am not at all mechanically minded so need someone honest and reliable. |

 Hi,
where in Adelaide are you? The 2 late model VW mechanics which come to mind are German Auto just off South Rd Melrose Pk, and AVW on Richmond Rd Mile
End, But these may not be your end of town.

You could also try posting on the Watercooled VW forum as there's plenty of people there with experience of VW dealerships and workshops.

 Cheers

Am based on the Eastern side of town. I saw an Audi/VW place on Unley Rd the other day. Does anyone have any experience with them. AVM is not too far
- what are they like. Was thinking of trying the German Auto crowd but I heard they are a bit pricey?

Do you mean just back from the corner of Greenhill Rd? Drive past them all the time not have no experience with them.

German Auto may well be pricey (not sure - but GHR was def a lot cheaper for my golf's last service) but I think you get what you pay for to a
degree. They have been around for years and have built up a reputation but used to be aircooled specialists.

I've heard good things about AVW but not dealt with them.
