[WTB - VIC] Type 3 Squareback wanted (maybe)

Hey All

I am thinking about a Type 3 square as a daily driver. I am currently using my Dual Cab but it is making me nervous with the idiots on the road I can see a rear ender wrecking the drop gates or worse and that would end in tears. Anyway to the point:

Preferably looking for an early model but late is ok (has to be a square). The clincher is I want it on the road and useable as a daily for $2k or less. Paintwork, dents etc not a problem nor is the interior. Happy to work on it but i would have to be able to drive it home. So nothing that can't be road worthied after a couple of weekends work.

And it needs to be within reasonable distance of Melbourne

Tell me if I'm dreaming or if you can help

Cheers Paul

You will get one for $2000, but given the rust issues and other, you are looking at $5000 before your on the road. Show me where the rwc ready Type 3s are for $2000 and I am there.

I have restraining orders against me by all the old lady type 3 owners in my neighbourhood. I am not allowed within 500 yards of the local RSL anymore:fakesniff::lol:

I've got a 72 square in melbourne i'm trying to sell, the poor thing had a big end faliure that i can get fixed for a small amount, not enough money for me to do it myself..but I'm more than happy to sell it for $2500ish with a recon'd engine. Interior is mint, exterior is a bit rough..few dents, rust in all the right places etc.

give me a call on 0403843017 if you're interested

Nick
