when doing supercharger fits i often come across that problem but have found a cheep and easy fix by using a electrical cabel joiner block and
cutting away all the plastic cover you are left with a brass 2 screw block and the joining is as easy as pasing the two ends through the block and
tighten down the screws

yea i was in the same boat as greedy,
i went to a bike shop and got them to make a 3.5m throttle cable up and just cut it to length
cos its running in its own outter sheath its alot smoother in operation but mine also had to go thro a couple of pretty wild bends
