Rear sway bar install help needed

Trying to install a rear whiteline sway bar on the back. The instructions I have are very limited, and I cant seem to get the bar to fit between the mounts at the base of the shocks. See photo.
Do I have to load the bar somehow to bend it to fit, and how would I do this?
All the bolts are loose at the moment, so it looks a bit sloppy, but its just halfway in the process.

flip the bar up so it is above the mounting 'box"....have a look at the links below

i mark the center point on the sway bar and tighten the u bolts over the torsoin bar housings, so the sway bar is mouted parralel to the torsion housing center line (accross the car) and also centered using your marking........try and make sense of that!!!

....and if you do, tell us how it looks at the shockie mounts then:lol:
