Dropped spindles and mech. accelerator cable

If you run CB dropped spindles, do you need a different mech. accelerator cable or can you buy a fitting for it, or am i an idiot and i should be able to fit as is.

Any direction as to how to connect these. Are they different on dropped spindles??

Cheers!

You mean the speedo cable, yeah ???

Standard one should work - from memory had to put it onto full right lock to maneuvre it in behind the upper ball joint.

Is there a difference between left and right steer?

Does a US beetle have the cable hole on the other side??

Hi

The cable holes is always on the left side, RHD or LHD, they just use different speedo cables for RHD or LHD.

depending when you got the dropped spindles - i have a feeling that on a bunch of them the hole for the speedo cable didnt show all the way through and required finishing.

i may be wrong. thats if you were having trouble finding the hole.

the hole kind of looks too big, but am unsure. I will need to play some more. Thanks for suggestions, they help when looking at the thing.
