6volt headlight bulbs for 36hp style lights

I am after 2 6 volt headlight bulbs for early style headlights (36hp beetles and buses) I dont mind if they are new or second hand- as long as they work. Does anyone have any or suggest where I can get them. Have tried voksbahn and George at VW Classic with no luck
Cheers

Try repco/autopro as they can order in most stuff like that.

there is a guy in Adelaide [I think]
who sells Quartz halogen 6 volt headlamp bulbs to fit early VWs...

He sells bulbs all over the world..

I don't have His info any more..

but if You want just standard early VW bulbs
[pearshaped]

many people will have them laying around...

best of luck

Lee

Hi Nicko.

Your link matches the bulbs I have. Two pins on the sides. The narrow pin being about 3 mm and the wider being about 4.5 mm; with two oval shaped contact points. Base about 20 mm in diameter. Type is BA20D. $20 for the pair (brand new, tested and working) including postage. PM if interested.
