Advice - Engineering & Blueslip

I'm working hard to get the car ready for Nats. Any advice on 'little' things that i may have forgotten regarding registration?

Do you need a horn? Do you need windscreen squirt's? Any little things like that...

Damn, was hoping you didn't need washers. Does the engineer check that or is that when you blueslip. Does the horn have to be connected to the push button on the steering column. I ran a single wire up my steering column just incase but i've heard its difficult to get it to earth properly.
That suxs about the washers...

heater channels are fine for demisters right? All the tubing is there. 2 speed wipers - check.

Hey Steve, would you have a spare washer line lying around? The ones that work off the tyre pressure? Unless i just fit an electric one. Hate adding all this extra stuff.

Supposedly demisters need to be fan forced, anybody have photos of their demisters, heard of using 12v hair dryer, or have most people found it doesn't come up or the heater channels are suffice. Advice?
