Beetle and Bus weights? how much pls


hey all..
i have my 54 type one and would like to know its approx weight - standard weight is fine
+ would also like to know how much a 76 model microbus 8 seater bay would weigh as well??
thinkin of getting a car trailer and want to know what i should build it for with weight in mind?

come to think of it if anyone has a tandem car trailer that takes these breeds can you put some measurements up here so i can get some ideas turning over in my skull pls..

Don't know about a '54, but according the manual for the beetle I used to own, a '71 ish model is 820kg.

early beetles from memory are about 740-760
Lbugs are the heaviest of all beetles at 860KG

'53 beetle 892 kg 1131cc 24.5 bhp @3300rpm 49ft.lb @ 2000rpm

'55 beetle 737 kg 1131cc 30bhp @ 3400rpm 56 ft.lb @ 2000 rpm

no '54 listed. no type 2 stuff.

Those bus weights would be very close for 69 - 79. My 1979 Microbus is 1300 kg TARE.
