need to know the diameter of the fitting on the g/box end of the clutch cable, anybody out there can advise?

No, the diameter of the fitting on the end of the cable, I need to know so that I can make up a cable (needs to be shorter than standard for a short wheel base pan) that I can push through the tube in the tunnel
