WTB Wheel adapters
I'm after four wheel adapters that go from small 4 stud ('70) to large 5 stud ('62) Beetle.
I've changed over from swing axle (large 5 stud) to IRS rear (small 4 stud) and from link pin to ball joint front. I want to keep my large,
wide, 5 stud wheels.

You can use them on the back with no problems, but they will hit on the caliper if you use them on the front with out changing to a later caliper, I
think the late L bug caliper will work???
I have 2 adapters if you want them.

Terry,
I don't know anything about Type 3's. So you're telling me that T3 rear drums fit a ('71) super/IRS setup and they will take or
have the large 5 lug wheels, so I can fit the wheels I already have now? Is that correct?
Let me know.

Just use the brake drums from your swing axle trans. If they are not the same width-swap the backing plates and shoes as well. You will only need
adaptors for the front .
