WTD: Windscreen for '56 Oval & Seal

Anyone know where I can source a new front screen for a '56 oval at a reasonable price? Preferably in the SE suburbs (Melb).

I'm also after a seal (that takes the aluminium trim) for the screen as well, Wolfsburg West or West Coast Metric only. Anyone have one or know where I can get one from (other than from US)

Cheers

I believe You will have to get the windscreen glass cut
at Windscreen Obrien or similar
from Laminated glass..
it flat glass...

it may be more economical to have two done...

The widscreen rubber may the same as a rear window rubber 1958-67 [from a bad memory?]
not sure how the aluminium strips would fit
maybe use the original strips..

Hopefully someone can confirm this

The screens are available new here in Sydney but shipping would be a problem

there should be a place in Melb that u can purchase new or get one cut if you have a sample or old screen

screens

I had some done a few years ago, I'm looking at getting some more done.
The main problem was the getting the correct thickness of glass and then when I did I had to purchase the whole sheet (pain) etc.
It was enough to get 8 screens.
