forgot to mention has all new rubbers / seals - minus ones on rear popouts as these are still in good shape.
has just recently had a full service by volksmod and a wheel alingment / balance so is driving super sweet.
front tyres have about 80-90% tread while the rears have about 70-80%

p.s reason for selling is because i have purchased a double door splitty that needs alot of work and im going travelling to california for the month of july.
will consider serious offers
thanks

Saw this at the Gold Coast show last year - absolutely gorgeous! Best of luck with the sale - don't think it will last long.

Best of luck with the sale Ben - this is a fantastic notch that would cost a lot more than $15K to replicate!

If you want to see all the pics without scrolling through pages of posts, you can go to the restoration album:
http://www.manxgallery.org/gallery/album385

Just gave the notch a full cut and polish and wax last week and a detail so its nice and clean and ready to drive away.....that is the beauty of this car - no issues to fix - just get in and enjoy the drive and the millions of looks you'll get!

Ben, if you haven't done so already I'd pop the notch onto carsales.com.au or some other non-vw related sale sites.

Another option is to consider selling at Wintersun - my mate runs the classic car auction there and this year they have a vehicle sale yard where you can park your car and have it open to thousands of car enthusiasts in a designated area. Details pasted below or go to their website:
http://wintersun.premierassetmanagement.net/

It would cost you $300 for the weekend however there is a really good chance you'd get a buyer as the hotrod/classic car guys/gals are often a little more ready to part with their cash than us vdub enthusiasts :) [ps I don'tget anything out of selling it there, just thought it could be a good option - have a think about it]

Sale or Swap Package – 4 days/4 nights $300 + gst June 5th to 8th BOOKING AVAILABLE NOW!

Day Rate: 8:30am – 8pm $100/day + gst available from June 5th– 8th BOOKING AVAILABLE FROM MAY 1ST

To register your interest, download a vehicle registration form from the Quick Resources section as the bottow of this page - or contact the Wintersun Auctioneers on (07) 3354 4200 during business hours or email enquires@premierassetmanagement.net.
