Try Airspeed Parts community forum.Look under General Forums then Members Vws then scroll down to Jim Martin and page 13 it was much better with all the photos but there gone now,Mick.

we have used the stock VW end play on the high side

the bearing they supply are crap we have used BMW plus moved the thrust to the center bearing bit of stuff around but worth it to keep heat away have to make special shims and machine case

Where are you at
