Bloody Dizzy
Yeha crew.
Wondering if anyone of us here has stripped down a Dizzi on a T3 2.1ltr?
If so How does one remove the pin in bottom of shaft?
Or is there another way to get at the top side of dizzi ( where wires connect) ?
I cant see how it's possible.
Started out fixing the water pump, mount cracked on bottom of AC compressor then caught the wiring on side of dizzi releasing one wire(earth) from
connection..
So a day job has turned in to a nighmare..
Apart from this option does anyone have 2nd hand dizzi?? Model 415
How much?? pm/u2u me.

Oh all this started because vehicle was at standstill after not wanting to turn over. Got opwer at both ends Ignition and Starter, got power when
turning key at starter pole 12.75Volts..
I aint push starting the bloody thing all the time.
Should one suspect a bad soleniod???

Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...

Fixed.
Starter was fully up the shit. Fully rebuilt.
Removed dizzy and remounted wire works fine in fact better than before so maybe wire was not quite properly secured after 19yrs of movement.
Oh you need a BIG lump hammer and a fine point punch just don't be scared. I took it to mechanic, he described that when small 4mm pin was stuck
there machine in factory cut hole and left pin inside in one hit. So explains effort to remove pin. But makes sense.
Oh thanks for the help Y'all. As usual a dubber has to learn the hard way.
