Next Victorian VW event?
Just wondering if there are any VW drag events on the cards for us Victorians?
I know there has been a VWCV drag day or two out at Heathcote, anyone heard is they or others are planning anything else soon?

Hey Cam, this is off the May Club mag Motor sport calendar.
Heathcote Drags Sunday 18 May - Cancelled. Due to Heathcote Park Raceway changing their calendar.
Event rescheduled for 22nd June.
Few other events coming up. The Rob Roy is good
1 June Bendigo Car Club - Motorkhana/Khanacross - Bagshot
15 June Interclub Challenge - Hillclimb - Rob Roy
22 June VWCV - Drag Racing - Heathcote Park
29 June Group 5 - Motorkhana - Werribee
1 July Group 5 - Sprint - Phillip Island
13 July Group 5 - Sprint - Sandown
27 July Group 5 - Motorkhana - Werribee

Unfortunately Russell the track owner is sick with cancer [I think] and has just sold the track to Bruno at VPW.
This is all third hand info so the details might not be 100%.
Sad to hear about Russell as he is a top bloke who just loves cars and did a lot for us here in Vic.

Doubt I'll be able to get to Rob Roy this time around, but will definitely be out for the drags... Believe it or not, this will be the first time I
see Aus' dubs on the drag strip 
That's sad news, Nick. Hopefully patrons will still appreciate all his hard work for many years to come.
