strangest things you have found in a VW

i was reading one of those 3 million page long threads on the samba yesterday on this topic and thought id start one here as i made a discovery today in one of my cars....talk about syncronicity
it wasnt in one of my vws but my laser is only 7 years old so nothing to exciting would show up as u expect but i was pulling the sub box out today and this was down the side of the boot....

http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd191/boostedbug/letter.jpg

there were some interesting discoveries on thesamba
most ppl have probably seen the splitty that had 14 pound of weed hidden in the chassis and another guys bug had a loaded hand gun rusted to the floor

my yellow beetle had an unsmoked joint between the central tunnel and the seat rail

so what strange things have others found?
the cavity down the front quater panels in beetles is usually a gold mine

I found half a microphone stand somewhere in the backseat area of my Beetle. Not a whole one, just half. That's in addition to all the ususal crap - pens, pencils, bits of paper.

Not VW but we're selling my wifes Mitsu Delica and a week ago she took it for its RWC and all was fine then a couple came around to look at it two days ago and when the guy was looking at the engine he pulled out an aerosol can of brake and parts cleaner that was stuck down near the turbo!!! Glad to see these roadworthy guys know their business! (BTW I've never even bought a can of this stuff so it wasn't mine and it wasn't there before the RWC.)

working in a vw garage in northern nsw we constantly found odd stuff, heaps of money, a didgerido [dunno how to spell that] a round sealed window out of a boat, a "little black book" with dates and times and money collected.

I found a heap of very stale fries down under the seat.
Even the red packet was under there!
Some one told me once they had the same,
and took them in to get some hot ones "cause these ones are cold".
It worked apparently.
