What's creepy about it??

He didn't die in it, in fact there is no evidence he died at all.

It's just a kombi.

Maybe "G'day Kombis" should be commissioned to sell the bus and pitch it to UK buyers - they seem to be quite proficient at exporting a lot of Oz buses over there, so this one should be draw quite a few quid esp since it is famous!

A friend of a mate bought a Kombi that the previous owner gassed himself in. didn't find him straight away so the stench of deaf was in it bad. Everyone who looked at it took a whiff and said no way. My mate who works in the chemicals and cleaning industry said to his mate buy it!!! I have just the stuff to get rid of the smell. got the car "dead" cheap and then gave it a good clean out. Smell gone and the car now has the nickname "Coffin". Some may find it creepy but to be honest how many of us really know what has gone on in our cars before we bought them.....

My guess is the Falconio Kombi will fetch good $$$

I'd buy it. Can't see the problem. Don't know why it needs to be crushed. Should be that Murdoch fella that needs the squashing, not the Kombi. Fkn Redneck kombi killin cops.:grind:

the cops had to contact joanne lees cos shes the only owner of it now to ask what to do with it
obviously she wants to put all that behind her and her way of doing that is having it destroyed

pretty sad
it looks pretty solid but SA vws are like QLD with no annual roadys alot of them are total POS

I reckon it will go for big bucks. Just for the curiosity factor alone. I wouldn't have a problem with owning it though. I'd be creating my own kind of Kombi Karma in it anyways.

I think its a bit macabre that its a celebrity item. If someone wanted it because they wanted a kombi OK , but not because its a part of infamous history. If it does go up for sale then I agree it probably will go for more than its face value though.
