original look???
hi guys,
as i was looking for an oval ,well i am really close of getting one, just got to ring the guy back and confirm and go down to sydney and drive her up
back to her new home....Qld. what i was wondering about is that if anyone know of any site or revues,book with detailled description of ovals as it
will be brought back to original....

Not sure about sites and stuff like that, but if you need advised about it just post up here! Also depends what year oval it is! Mid 55 and Earlier
are different to mid 55 and later!

For colours, Go to http://www.wolfsburgwest.com
That site will tell you what exterior colour went will what interior colour! Thats a US site with US and European models. Mechanically, Am I right to
say they were 30 horses?!
Im sure I will be corrected!

Beetles sold in Australia in 1956 were assembled from German CKD kits, with only some Australian components like batteries and tyres added here. Dulux
in Melbourne provided the paint to spray the German-made panels, and in the early days the colours were the same as Euro and US-spec cars. Only after
1959 were Australian colours different.
Are you going to paint the car in the same original colour?
In the meantime, buy or borrow as many VW books you can, and read them! Good luck.
