I was going to buy these rims...

Steel rim eBay Auction

I have been watching these for days and planned on bidding. I have been after rims >14" for my van for years. Just before bidding it occurred to me to double check everything. Especially because it would be a 400km round trip to pick up.

Talk about a disappointment! unless their measurements are utterly off there is no way those would fit a van. The steel rim included didn't look holy enough either around the edge.

There goes my first real chance of larger rims.

I nearly bought a set of Merc rims from the wrecker recently but when I came back a week after spying the mercs that had been sitting idle for years, found out they had been sent to the crusher. He had kept two 14" Merc rims because he wanted the tyres for his ute.

Sorry about the rant. I guess what I want to say is this. Are there any cheap 15"+ rims with compatible studs and offsets that people are using? I couldn't care less about looks so bog standard rims are fine by me.

That's not a bad idea. I never thought of actively putting it out there. I've just been looking for suggestions.
