FS QLD - Oval Beetle NEW PRICE
I'm selling my Oval beetle as it doesn't get used. I bought it nearly 2 years ago and drove it till it ran out of rego and then shedded it
intending to do it up to show standard. It's not going to get touched for a long while more, so if someone wants it, I'd like to see it go to a
good home. It was repainted by the fella I bought it off and I drove it pretty much as I bought it until it ran out of rego.
Comes with two working sets of semaphores and a complete 36hp motor (in bits) I bought for sending it back to original.
As is, no rego, no RWC, and only requiring minor work to have it ready for rego.
$4,500. I'll take offers. I've decided I want it gone.

After several requests, time to clarify a few points. The engine lid and bonnet are completely rust free. It appears they've always been that way
as I can find no evidence of repairs. The doors are the same, rust free and no evidence of repairs.
There is a small rust hole (2cm x 1cm ish) at the bottom of the driver's door pillar (the back one) and the both front pillars have had repairs done
(not by me). The only rust holes I could find were in the driver's pillar as stated, a small hole in the floor behind the rear jack point on the
passenger side and rust starting to come out in the body where the back of the front guards meet the body.
The guards have some surface rust but no holes and all appear to never have been repaired before.
The pan is original and rust free. It appears that the body has never been off although of course, I have no way to confirm this without doubt.
I have attempted to photograph these areas and post them for the information of all.
This is a very good solid car and excellent base for restoration, that's why I bought it in the first place.
