1500 ---> 1641TP doghouse?
Can a 1500 case be turned into a 1641 doghouse cooler'ed version? Is it as simple as bolting on a new oil cooler,, fan shroud, PnC's and heads (and
manifolds etc)? I'll be getting a mechanic to do it all, but I just wanted to know if it was possible first....
Cheers

i think so you will need an adaptor for the doghouse cooler
as long as you have a good 1500 short block to start with

You will need all the tinware
and the doghouse oil cooler and tinware..
most 1500 engines are now 1600 although I have kept mine a single port engine..
and i have all the tinware, I did run the doghouse oil cooler and tinware up until recently and then changed back to the original tinware with the
doghouse oil cooler mounted next to the RHS rear axle...
[ I'm keeping the tinware]
cheers
