So can an EJ 22 fit into an L Bug engine bay without cutting ?

Oh and since it has been 10 minutes since my post I now know for a fact that and EJ 22 will not fit into an L Bug without cutting. If you moved the box fwd 50mm it would but not in the stock position.

Oh well all to hard, anyone have a 1916 for sale cheap ? with warranty and fuel injection ?

Yep they do but you need to cut the inner panels, modify the oil filler and remove the engine bay sealing tin.

Then skin the rear clip before you put it back on.

But it fits .... at least it would I am sure if I was doing such a thing based on my internet search and tyre kicking.
