Engine/chassis numbers
I know this has been done before but I'm trying to establish what the hell I've got? The chassis number isn't very clear, all I can read is 118 475
0??-could be 69. The engine number is a81310P and that is lower case a and cap P. Any help would be most appreciated.

Maybe the engine was an Australian industrial engine
and thats a wild guess
or it was a new case which come unnumbered..
and someone used that number??
small "a" seems strange..
then again My engine has "Hi Power Conv 2062"
stamped near the engine number??
but the engine number is still there...
that is a hard one...
do you have any pics of the engine?

Right, I've just had another look in daylight and I can now see a faint B at the start and the lower case a is actually a small Q and looks to be a
newer stamp. Does that make things simpler or confuse matters more?

I've never heard of that one before but I suppose as the cap B is barely visible you could have a point.
