My type 3 square Journey
I got this squareback about 4 months ago for $350. It had no engine but a pretty solid body. Rear gaurds, passinger door and bonnet have dings and
will be replaced with straight ones as will the tired old interior. Found rust under carpet, luckly it was only mainly surface rust. Cleaned it up and
wacked on some rust convertor and paint. Wanted to POR-15 it bu didnt have the cash at the time, maybe later. I picked up a whole interior from the VW
nationals for $150 as well as some back pop out windows for $150 also, was stoked. I have a reco 1835 to pop in to get this baby moving to.

here are some more photo's of the new interior and a splash of paint. I was really unhappy that I painted it in a rush, didnt even want it white but
I was getting a Blue slip the next day and it looked really shabby with the different color panels. I have since started sanding it back for a proper
paint job. Really happy with the interior. Just needs a new head lining and back carpet.

The next day got the Blue slip without to much hassel. Just needed to fix the horn, hand brake and weld up some rust in the back wheel arches. The
engine went in without too much hassel. Drove it down from Sydney to Adelaide the next day. She didnt miss a beat the whole way down. Went pretty good
on fuel to. Really pissed about that paint I put on it. Has been a real drag getting it down ready for primer. Now saving to get it lowered and a new
exuast.

Looks like it will be a nice clean unit.
Well done.
