a very strange add, but it does show the ruff n tuff of a syncro.

by the way, i'm selling my 2.1 caravelle syncro, $18,000 with a new gearbox, exellent engine, loads of extras!

I remember that ad very well, dating back to the mid-80's. The main character in the ad is a local artist named David Kramer, more info on him at http://www.davidkramer.co.za . He did quite a number of South African VW Bus TV ads, all downloadable at http://www.vw.co.za
