[FS - QLD] 73 Fastback - Fuel inj. & Auto - SOLD
TextRegretful sale of my daily driver for the last two years, due to my daughters Beetle nearing completion and I will have no shed
space left for it.
1973 Fastback TLE
Currently registered till Dec 08.
Paint: Looks better than it really is in the photos - I would say in fair condition - has had a backyard spray somewhere in its
life.
Interior: No rips in seats - was owned by an elderly gent from new. Original carpet in vgc except for drivers footwell. The roof
lining is original with no tears or staining. Door cards vgc apart from Drivers side pcket which would be repairable.
Mechanical: Starts first time every time. Motor runs very well and has extractors(still has heater boxes in place) and hotdog
muffler.Some minor oil leaks. Brakes are excellent and the car rides well on the road.
Things I have done since owning it:
New original fuel pump unit and fuel lines.
New Kuhmo tyres
New rear shocks
New indicator assy
Rear brakes reconditioned
Mastes Cylinder resleeved
New hubcaps and beauty rings
Rust: There are some bubbles appearing at the bottom of the C pillar - typical of Fastbacks. Floor pan is rust free. The passenger
side has had some rust repairs at some stage - metal replacement, but a bad bog finish which has fallen off. This was to be my next job after the
Beetle was finished.
Also have some spares with the sale:
Rust free bonnet and passenger door.
New door seals.
New J pipes.
Assortment of other bits and pieces.

Hey matt
Will attempt to post some more pics in the next couple of days. Front and rear trunk areas are original and very tidy, as is interior, apart from
drivers side floor.
