I bought my 1st hottie VW parts at Powertune in '79 - '80, I remember talking to Steve over the counter, and buying a full set of Powertune Flaired Guards for my '69 Beetle.
Still have a catalogue here somewhere, it was a cool shop.

Looks a bit different these days

i grew up there ! well grew older and used to skate in the front of that workshop around 88-onwards and i went in one day and there was a set of webers in the glass display i remember asking how much and he said $1000 bucks i walked out thinking what a tosser but that was reallity i guess lol
