Greetings from the Gong

Hello everyone my names Nigel and i live down in Wollongong Nowadays.
I have been thinking about getting a Beetle and i thought
getting onto a Forum would be a good place to start learning more about them etc.
I saw one i liked but unfortunately i just found out he has sold it
I know Reuben from when i used to live in Darwin and loved seeing that thing of his as he was building it up.
Anyhow thats about it for now.

Cheers mate i will have to pay them a visit for a look and a chat.
Handy having them nearby :tu:

I have actually always liked Beetles just havent owned one.
When i was a Mechanic in the Big blue supermarket my flatmate
and i Turbod his Baja Bug over two nights at work for under $100.
We used a T2 off a Pulsar Exa Turbo and used a Drawthrough setup with a sidedraft SU carby off a Range rover V8.
We just locked the Dizzy in with no advance and most of the $100 went to Enzed for making up the Oil supply and return lines.
Went well considering the backyard 2 night approach
