This vehicle is on the CB Register. It is KO494. Ztnoo has more detail on this vehicle.
Wish we had that sort of rubber out here in Oz to fit the wide rimmed CB.

Bill is correct. I have followed this CB around for quite a while now.
I had contact with the previous owner here in the States and had one hell of a time gathering any info on it.
Sometimes weeks would go by without an email reply to my questions.
Then suddenly, the next thing I knew it was sold to another Memphis resident who eventually started a couple of Samba threads on the car, and posted a
few pics. one of which is seen in this thread.
Again, I tried several times to communicate with the new owner, but to no avail.
Yesterday I found out via email exchanges with the ad poster that he is serving as an agent for the owner. He posted the ad because the owner doesn't
have a computer. No wonder I could never connect with the guy.
The basic deal is the owner wants to trade for a SC or a DC. He says he will not sell it outright for cash.
Huh?????
Something doesn't make sense to me here. Apparently he wants to sit around and wait for his dream trade to appear and then everything will be peachy
keen.
My thought is why not sell the CB outright, and then go shopping for what he's really looking for?
I think the odds of him finding exactly what he wants and the owner of that vehicle being willing to trade for a CB are very low.....maybe
non-existent.
Anyway if the owner "Rick" wants to pull this off, he better sharpen his communications skills with timely replies to buying inquiries.
For me it would make the most sense to buy a CB already in the US, rather than jumping through all the hoops of money transfer, overseas freight
charges, not to mention the cost of the CB itself. I can physically drive to his location in a day's time to check it out......but you have to have
two wiling parties for a potential deal to happen....and there's only one right now.

Steve
