1960 Beetle 'Jupy' photos


Ok so i have finnaly gotten around to putting some photo's on here of my 1960 beetle, very first beetle ever, its my daily driver and it has been bashed a little and fixed again to get her back on the road now is getting nice an revamped so i just thought i would post these for ppl to see.

When i first brought him 4 years ago-- sheez i was only 15.

Came with Hazett tool box in awesome nic (only missing 2 tools) however It went when the boyfriend did...GRRR

What happens when idiots driving bombed up fords speed through round abouts with no breaks etc... Was one of the scariest things ever... and only 9 days after i got my licence.

Put some new guards on, fixed steering, breaks, front end etc and stuck him back on the road.. good as new :S

Where he is at the moment. Soon to be painted metalic blue, then its off to get re carpeted and new interior.

What sort of headlights are they, is that fog lamps built into them?

they are rossi headlights n little parkers i gues you would call them... i dont know much about the lights but they cost me a heap to bye new ones after the accident then i got given a box of smick rossi's with 4 sets of complete light in them. :)

haha pretty blonde.. awe schucks, ha. beetle has now nothing inside at all bar 1 seat for me, no windows except front and back... is that illegal in qld?
i must admit i am on a 4x4 forum for my 80 series cruiser n Aussie vee dubbers is certainly more friendly :tu:

hay, ggo job with the fix up!
i get into fixing my car too, and theres not many girls around that like to work on there cars
i really do think that the one seat and no windows is illegal every where luv :smilegrin: but whats the harm if ur having fun!!
