Kombi on Coochiemudlo Island
I spotted this Camper last year on Coochiemudlo Island. It is in the backyard of the holiday house known as the 'Cow House'.
see: http://www.brisbane.stays.com.au/23518
It looks fairly straight, it's missing the engine and I think it is a German RHD import.
It's taken me this long to realise it's beyond me to restore but hopefully someone will.

Old Coochiemudlo Island, you can walk round it in 15 min. with that much salt water round it it must be full of rust ????? Still, may be a good
project.
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

I actually met the lady who owns this bus. She owns the holiday units there. She said that some people came to stay, but couldnt pay the cost of
accomodation so they gave her the Kombi. She actually ripped out the working engine and tossed it at the dump. The Kombi looks different now though.
She turned it into a cubby house for kids staying there on holidays. It is now painted 1000 different colours. Thats what she wants to do with it, and
she has NOOOOO interest in selling it. I think its cool
