Does it fit 68? Or 76? There was a change in column splines around 1974, I think...

I have tryed counting the spline and comes up 39 if that makes sense.Theres no markings on the box to say what year model im just going of what
someone has wrote on the box with texture.It has 1996 stamped on the box and looks like it has never been fitted.Yes its leather.
