[FS - NSW] BMW 323i with 12 mths rego $3k

Name: Steve Moran
Suburb: Melrose Park, Sydney
Tel: 0421-044987
Price: $3000 with 12 mths rego

BMW 323i E30 1984 model. I bought this from the original owner who lived in Mosman 4 years ago, an ex-manager of Hill-Samuel (now Macquarie Bank) who receieved it as a company car new in 1984. He had it maintained all the way through until he sold it to me, by a BMW specialist in Crows Nest (have stamped service books).

Its Platinum Green in colour, a 4-door sedan with a beige interior. The car runs excellent, has good brakes, good power, doesn't blow smoke, and has approx 230ks on it. Doesn't leak oil or water, and the engine bay is clean.

I've maintained it since I've got with regular oil/coolant/filter changes, I've also replaced the front wheel hubs and bearings, brake pads all round, front struts and rear shocks. I've also got the aircon working, which involved rebuilding the compressor, replacing the evaporator (which was a pig of a job as the whole dash had to come out), T/X valve and its been profressionally converted from R12 to run on R134a gas.

It has a Remote keyless alarm system, linked to the central locking with a car jacking feature that locks the doors the first time you press the brake, and unlocks them when you turn off the ignition.

Blaupunkt radio/CD player with remote control and 4 speakers (original BMW radio cassette supplied with the car).

Has the original BMW alloys, with locking wheel nuts, all are straight with no dents. Even has a complete BMW toolkit in the boot.

Has a small dent under the trim on one of the back doors hardly noticable, very small bit of rust in the the drivers door, and above the license plate on the bootlip, both of which are very small and not viewable when the door/bootlid are closed. Couple of other minor scrates and dents. The rear seats are frayed where the baby seat was, and there are sheepskin covers on the front seats

I just got a pink slip last Saturday, went through with no problems. The rego runs out on 5th October, and I will renew it so the car comes with 12 months and 2 weeks of rego!

A great car to just get in and drive, and a perfect candidate for a future classic.

Cheers

Steve

Forgot to add, its an 4 speed auto, and I've added a cable to the stereo so you can put an iPod into it.

Cheers

Steve
