WTB - Complete Headlights for Early Type III


Hey Guys, Im after a pair of complete headlights for an early type III (65). Must have lenses, rings, and all internals ready to go.
Please let me know what you have.

I have a set at home, complete with the factory stone-mesh... came off the old 65 Notch I had for a while.

From memory no bulbs in 'em tho.

aren't they the same as the late beetles??

and late type 3s...??

with the hard to find bulbs... [can't remember number]
P43t ??

I have always replaced the VW lights with semi sealed beams with QH H4 bulbs.... Hella..

I'd be happy with anything that will fit and work, so if you have a working solution then Im willing to give it a go! If there are any more details to give me, please do.
Still looking for parts.

Yep, I did think that they would be the same as the bug and late type 3 lights too.

Second PM sent Gibbo.... methinks either your PM's or my PM's are going missing (happened a few times recently actually).

And yeah - they're the same setup as a 12V bug... ran mine on my bug for a while when it still had 12V guards... the stone-mesh looked cool against the dark blue !!!
