now now,,, common guys,,, be fair,,, it`s not all my fault,,, the dam right pedal is quite heavy & has a slight tendancy to fall to the floor
quite often,,, you should realise how hard i try to keep it from doing that :-)
Brad, the right side has allways clicked since i bough it, & the other day i thought i`d have a look, & guess what??? yeah? no? yeah? no i
bet you didn`t guess it ... but still... in the RHs CV at the wheel end, there was only 5 balls in there,,, soooo, me bein me, figured that is all
that was cuasing the noise,,, so i dug up another ball, cleaned up both Cvs,,, re-packed with good quailty molly grease, whacked it all back in there
& all was quiet for about 2 days,,, now the noise is back, & yeah one of the CVs looked pretty new-ish, same on the other side with one
looking pretty new-ish,,, so i wondered what brand would be best to replace them with.
I should have got the porsche flanges with my lockrite diff that i bought from Townsville, but only the diff came & no porsche flages, so that
rules out fitting porsche ones for now... so ,,,here i am with a couple of noisy CV joints, about to fit the new Albins g/box with locker diff etc
& i`m just a little hesitant to do so until i`ve sorted some decent CVs
sorry about the long post but i really think i need something better than whatever is in there now.
are there "Special" racing ones that fit into the VW spiggot/flange & bolt pattern? or do i just go the Lobros & keep replacing them every
year? :-) I mean why not replace them every year???, i get less life from my g/boxes so the CVs are the least of my worries :-)
brenden,,, "Drive Train man",,, i like it :-) I met this girl on a train once & i drove,,,, nah,,, wrong web site for that ey? :-)

Just fit the 930's and be done with it. Rod Penrose usually has the flages, cv's and axles to suit in stock.
I replaced the ones on the Geko and have been very happy with the results and although it did cost a little more than Lobro's it was less than the
cost of a CV change on the side of the road and they are huge.
On a stock kombi you should be able to get away with running Porsche axles so that will save a few $$$. Can't remember the length off the top of my
head by we ended up putting a set in Dave's Buggy so he may remember.
