HELP- EJ22
I have had the conversion in the buggy for a while now, and never been able to sort this problem.
After you drive for about 15min, it would pump all the oil up through the breather hoses and out out the air filter.
A mechanic had a look, and said that my breather hoses were wrong, so he changed them to exactly how they are on a Liberty.
Went for a drive, all was goping good until it pumped the oil out, and down the throttle body.
What could it be????????????????????

For oil to be coming out the breather hoses, it could be a case of blowby pressurising he cranckcase and pumping the oil out. Do you know the history
of the engine that you put into your dub?

mm EJ 22 ....
Ok if it is blowing oil then you are getting presure in the sump. Do you have much blow buy ?
Due to the ICV setup and a few other weird things on the EJ 22 if you have it idleing and take the cap of the oil filler air will get in bypassing the
AFM making it run like crap.
Without seeing you setup it is hard to say but I would suggest checking the crank breather isn't blocked. I had seen some people do some very
interesting things or better still certain mud wasps build nests in the weirdest places.
Got a picture ?
Exactly as they are on the liberty ?
So you have all the original induction pipes and airbox from the liberty on there ?

I was thinking it is crankcase pressure, building up/
Brad,
the original settup was a mimic of your settup you, I think????
When the 'mechanic' changed the settup, he used all by piping, and a custom intake, but had the hoses run the same way.
I will check the crankcase breather isnt blocked tonight

Does it pump all of the oil out until the oil light comes on?
Are you 100% sure the oil level reading is correct? If you overfill it then it will pump oil out all over the place.
