heater channel replacement


hi guys this is my first go at this .i have a 1971 super bug .which i am rebuilding .needs l/h heater channel replacement ,going to do myself any thing i should watch for .

If you are removing the whole thing, you might want to weld some temporary bracing into the door space before you remove it.
Ive not done one myself, but it helps keep everything together so you dont have to worry about things not fitting properly after.

Great you are having a go yourself, Im hoping to get some "welding lessons" somehow so I can get some of my work done too. Plenty of practice no doubt.
