Almost into the wall twice. Maintenance check!
Prob a safe check for all late Type 3 owners and possibly Bugs as Im sure the set up is the same. The overflow pipes on these cars go hard over time
and need to be replaced ( I have not done of course but will). It can pop off and with a full tank will leave a wonderful trail of fuel onto your rear
tyre when doing a hard left hander.
So when Im minding my own business Im all of a sudden sideways. Thought maybe someone else had left it but 15km later and almost home, sideways
again
Didnt realise fuel was so slippery.
So in short, take a few seconds and make sure the hose is secure. Thank God it wasnt wet and I was by myself.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn?
UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.
