S & L bugs, germanlook style

whats the chances the like minded people with strut bugs could all throw their specs for what struts brakes boxes etc they are using here for reference sake, think of it as a local germanlook i guess, also what kind of preformance / problems you have had with your setup :tu:

Why not

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d170/blue74l/Marty/101_0221.jpg

1975 L bug with rack and pinion steering
V Force Struts
130 Lbs spring with helper - will update with a pic on the weekend

Stock brakes with new single pattern equal thickness hubs and rotors in 130 PCD 5 bolt

Wheels - Porsche Boxster 16"
Front - 6" x 205 x 50 series 50 ET
Rear - 7" x 225 x 50 series 40 ET

The above pic
Wheels - V Force Spiders 15"
Front - 6" x 195 x 60 series 36 ET
Rear - 6" x 195 x 65 series 20 ET
Lowered o outer spline over what it is now
No helper spring on the front.
You can get a "flat" helper that would give the same look and still hold the spring on full travel

The Spiders were a better fit all round but i wanted the 16" low profile look

Earlier set up

DBA rotors - nice slotted but wheel bearing sat too proud. Had to muck round with machining the rotor to get it to sit right and not foul on caliper
