installing Pop out back windows on type 3 square

Hey guys. Can anyone give me some guidence on how to install back pop-outs on my 72 type 3 square. I have removed the old glass and rubber. How do you attach the hidges onto the body. Are you supposed to cut slots out for them to fit in or do you have to weld something up. Also Is there suppose to be a rubber that fits in behind the window frame as when I sit the window in place there is a grap remaining.

thanks

Have a look at your post in the Type 3 section. Also, once you have the old fixed windows out, you will need some of the beading the same as which clips around the door opening to trim the lip where the fixed rubber fitted. Yes you DO have to have the hinge bits welded/brazed into position once you have found them from a donor car.
