Hi from UK
Hi My names martin ive been checking out your forum, thought id join and say hi.
I live in Devon, England and i too own an original patina'd aussie bug.
Its a 67
We love it but when it was on its way over on the boat a bus fell on the front roof section and he roo bar landed on the roof causing a big old dent,
We have original purchase and service reciepts and we have all the left it as is and currently take it round the UK dub shows and its well known on
the scene over here.
When it was in the yard of nick from volks parts (where we sorced it from)
In uk for the frist time:
Bit of a hit with the lowering stick:
And now:
Im just about to put on a 3 inch narrowed front beam, CSP disk brake conversion with porsche 944 master cylinder, and 1914cc motor so it should keep
up with the traffic
