Getting child seats fitted

Hi All,

I'm looking at buying a 1963 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE 1200 as a second car. I have 2 small children and i'm wondering how to go about getting child anchor points fitted to the car. Cheers for the help.

I have a Beetle with 2 small children. Fitted one anchor on the passenger side, but that meant the seat has to be forward so the baby seat wont touch the front seat. This is not possible on the drivers side unless I put that seat forward to drive, which I cannot do safely. If the child is sitting in a booster with a over shoulder harness, then there may be enough room, if they cannot touch the back of the front seat with their feet.

So for us this means only one child can be in the beetle at a time. The kombi is the family bus now.
