Revenge of the Lederhausen - My pics of my trip from Miami (if on 56k dont click!)
As some of you know i had to go to Miami to attend a wedding as i was best man. Miami is awesome so much more wilder than LA and Vegas i think it has
to do that most of it is populated by Cubans and Puerto Ricans. For some reason they thought i was Cuban hahaha!
Anyways enjoy the pics:
Miami City:
Mates with their Vettes:
Danny Devito's Restaurant:
Miami girls are friendly:
Miami South Beach is Famous for its Art Deco architecture which i loved reminded me of GTA Vice City but also Scarface was filmed in some of these
buildings
Even the Kombi's voted for Obama
Chico's doing happy laps in their low rider
Just noticed the dude with a python around his neck - WTF?!?
Interesting manaquin
Versace's place where he was murdered
This bum wanted to sell me his low rider bike
Fashion shoot on Miami beach
Audi A4 S Line
Pimpin on 13's
Does anyone remember this street in GTA Vice City?
On the way out to Halloween:
Fellow German!
Moulon Rouge
Interesting costume
Anyone for body paint?
The queue for Cameo nite club was out of control but because the West Indie Bouncer loved the Aussie Cricket team he let us skip the queue
Cameo had the craziest halloween party in Miami lucky there were police to keep an eye on things
Freedom!
Caddy on Dubs
Rolls Drophead
On my way home
Scrubbed up ok for the wedding the next day
Recovery at Miami Beach, the water was so warm and clear thanks to the Atlantic Ocean
Lorinser Mercedes
After Miami a quick stop to LA home of all the Aircooled VW parts. I stopped at VW ISP West http://www.vwispwest.com who not only sell parts but do full restorations. I stopped by to pick up some cupholders for Shazza
=)
Splitty awaiting resto
Resto'd Splitty
Resto in Progress
Some tool decided to cut the chassis to fit a v8 in this 21 Window Splitty :banghead:
Double Cab Split Company Ute
Karmann Ghia awaiting resto notice the cupholders one of them was Shazza's =)
The owner paid only $10,000 for this original Porsche 912 its awaiting really minor resto but this thing was mint also note the rare roof rack!
resto'd Split Ute
Off to Beverly Hills to do some shopping and eating
Anyone want to rent a Ferrari?
Stopped for lunch at The Ivy where all the celebs go apparently
Paparazzi waited outside which meant someone in there was famous. The paparazzi got a bit miffed when i started taking photos of them

Does anyone know who this guy is? He started telling the paparazzi off saying he cant even have lunch in peace and quiet and they chased him. Not sure
who he is unless he was a decoy?
Merc G Wagens are popular in Hollywood
My friends mum made some home made Mexican food - its the best wish we had something decent in Australia
Needed to buy Shazza some new rear shocks due to her being so low in the rear they are nearly dead so i found this place Vee Dub Parts Unlimited in
Huntington Beach that sell Empi Shortened Oil Shocks for lowered beetles. Bought the pair for only $40! Really nice people if anyone wants to buy
stuff check their website http://www.vwparts.net
Cali version of Shazza was out side looked like a 57 or 58
Note the Ice on the mouldings
got to fly on Qantas' second A380 flight from LA to Sydney. Man this plane is scary awesome so quiet you can tell its a brand new plane with carbon
fibre seats and big screens it is a really smooth plane. The wings are made to bend notice the pics below:
Straight wing for flying:
Balloned wing for decending and landing (notice the bend)
Tail is huge!
I also bought a crap load of clothes for Miltiadi Ralph Lauren, DKNY, and Baby Jordan and Air Force 1 shoes. Got the TT a Raffi Gear Knob, APR Turbo
Inlet Pipe, Forge DV relocation kit, and a H&R adjustable rear sway bar.
I first thought LA and Vegas was crazy but Miami was a whole new level and recommend it to anyone!
