Chrome strips in windscreen rubber
Hey everybody, does anyone have any tips on putting the soft alloy strips into the rubber, on the windscreen, without buggering it? thanks

Hi,
Not really that hard, but you need to fit the rubber to the windscreen, then fit the trim into the rubber including the upper and lower joiner clips,
then fit the lot to the car.
Once it is installed you can go around with a towel folded over by four and a beat the rubber in gently with your fist to get it all into shape. Use
plenty of aerosol glass cleaner for lubricant as it dries clear and does not get on your hands as you work.
It comes together on the car, looks like spaghetti before you start. Secret it to have the trim pretty straight before you start.
