help trying to find a bettle from the 80's
hello avd
this is a real long shot but im trying to find the whereabouts of a 60's model beetle 68/69 roughly light blue in coulor possibly had hotwires on it
also, the car was in wollongong south, dapto albion park oakflats area and was owend by a guy detlef(Ted) kaiser , what makes this car a bit different
is that i heard he had built a 2.2L type 4 engine for it twin dells dry sump and other goodies. apprently this car was a real animal, i know this
isnt much info but i would love to know if anyone knew of it back in the day or if it still exists today.
ps i did speak the the owner that put the type 4 engine but he has no idea where it went after he sold it in the mid 80's
