69 Squareback
Hi all,
Well finally got my square back from the panel shop after a 4 month wait!
Originally had a 72 Fasty which i sold to my sis, before i went new-age and got a '03 Grey Mazda 323 SP20. Anyway, got bored of my car working all
the time, and my brothers GF had a very straight and original square with matching numbers which i kinda forced her into selling. Knew a guy who knew
a guy - into the shop it went for a fresh coat of original diamond blue and very minor cancer surgery (sills). Complete fresh rubber set incl trim
too!
Stage one complete, now just gotta re-do the carpets, throw on the white walls and a few other bits and pieces ive collected over the last 6 months,
and my daily driver is complete!!
Anywho, here are some rushed pics:
Sorry the pics arent the greatest, ill hopefully get some with it out in the sun over the next few weeks!!
PS. Does anyone have a set of 4 short rear lens screws? I have a NOS set of flat euro lenses i want to put on but the ones on at the moment have a
long and a short screw and i cant find them anywhere!!

to do any more work on it!!!!
Looking forward to the Chrissie hols, should have evrything done.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Funy story - went to get my hair cut last night just as a big green looking nasty storm came over. Not comprehensively insured yet, so i had to park
it about 3km away in the closest undercover park i could find! Small price to pay for peace of mind....

Very, very nice. I love the height as well, thats roughly where I want mine to sit. I'm assuming you cut the bump stops at the front?

variant,
The front bump stops remain as is . I had a 72 fasty which had been dumped and had them either cut or removed (i cant remember) and the ride was
horrible!!
You cant really notice them, they just stop you knocking your teeth out when you go over a pot hole....

Notch,
As i understand it, you can either leave as is (and only go down so far), cut them of competely, cut say half off, or i have heard from a couple of
people that you can put beetle bump stops on there, which are smaller.
Hope this helps.
Fresh Powdercoated wheels and whitewalls to go on this weekend.....
