Did pre 70 Type 3's have the front guard script? On a 65, wasn't it just "VOLKSWAGEN" and "1500" on the boot lid only?
In the worlds before Monkey primal chaos reigned. heaven sought order, but he pheonix can fly only when its feathers are grown. the 4 worlds formed
again and yet again, as the endless aoens weild and passed. Time and the pure essence of heaven and the moisture of the earth all worked upon a

Both the "VOLKSWAGEN" and "1500" script on the 63, 64 and 65 Notches had 4 prongs each. If your boot lid has only 3 one would think that the lid
is from a 66 on with the VW1600 script which has only 3 prongs from memory.
