Someone here must have an old cracked one around which can be re-skinned but will cost you a fair bit of loot, maybe around $400 or so to get it done. There are a couple of the up to 70 model dash pads in a wreckers here in Sydney's west but I'm not about to trust the local snakes and spiders at present even if I can find the owner to get in there!

Hi,

I have a dash top in one piece, presentable but not show quality, could be reskinned.

$50 if you want it.

Cheers,

David

T3D seem to only have left hand ones in stock.

By the way, What model year dash are you after. There are 3 different styles so it depends on year model.

thanks for the ideas. ours is for a 1969 model squareback.

we did have a cracked dash in there, we took it out to use as a template... but cos its glued in, it disintergrated in to 10 shredded pieces.....

David... is your dash out of the car already... if so we'll take it for $50...

Dallas, are the variations in the speaker grill only or somewhere else I should be looking.

Hi Andrew. 1st model is the one which blends with the top door trim. Ths was used on all early German builds to 1965 (on the "S" anyway) but here in OZ we generally only saw them to 1963.

The 2nd style had the bumps on the ends smoothed and was on all OZ built from 1964 through to 1971?? Can't remember if the 71 had the seperate speaker grill but was still retained at the windscreen with screws.

The 3rd type, 72 on, is similar but has the seperate speaker grill plus the edge on the windscreen side now fits into a "C" channel to retain rather than the 6 or so screws.
