prefect body vw pan
what im about to show is top secert so dont tell anyone else ok!
this is what happens when a beetle runs up the back of a 1950 Australian body Ford Prefect at speed......

I saw a similar project online and just had to try it... so here's the start of the project and i'll keep you updated.
but just look how close to the vw pan the body is in dimension! the vw and the prefect are only 12mm different in wheel base thats 6mm each end to
hide ( nothing) and the vw is 100mm wider in track but that can only be a good thing.
FYI it is a mids 70's irs pan and g/ box with a std ball joint disc frontend. as for engine.... Im open to sugestions but im leaning toward a nice
jap all alloy v6 or subby hidden in the boot.
I hope to have the body mounted securely by xmas so more pix to follow.
Regards
Kev

sure will handle better than the old chassis. you should go a mid mounted motor of some sort. how bout a complete mivec 2.0l V6 out of a mitsubishi
FTO. they come standard with a 5 speed and a 9000rpm redline.
